Marina Leung
Marina Leung is a veteran in the corporate communications and brand management industry. She has over 25 years of experience working with renowned international consultancies. Most recently, she was Managing Director, Chief Branding Officer, Greater China for an international PR agency. During her tenure there, she led the agency to win 6 PR Asia Awards, 2 Marketing Excellence Awards and 2 Markies Awards in 2014 and 2015.

She specialises in corporate positioning, brand management, market entry for companies and product launches, corporate reputation and crisis/issues management, CSR and social media. She regularly provides media training and crisis management training to senior /top management of her clients. Marina charted McDonald’s global SARS crisis management manual and was instrumental in helping roll out McDonald’s ‘I’m lovin’ it’ rebranding in Greater China. (McDonald’s rebranding in GRC scored number 3 among 165 countries.) One of the crucial benchmarks of her success was the phenomenal buy-in from McDonald’s staff resulting from her internal employee communications programs which included among others, townhalls, staff rallies, concerts, complete re-design and relaunch of a national staff newsletter).

During her tenure at various agencies, Marina has formulated award winning consumer and corporate communications programs for clients. These included the launch of Crest complete line of oral products in China (DM&B) and the immensely successful initial public offerings of two of Guangdong Investment Corporation’s subsidiaries in Hong Kong , which broke the record for the highest public subscription rate in the HK Stock Exchange then.

Marina’s experience spans from Greater China to Asia Pacific as she has managed many clients regionally at various 4A agencies and PR agencies as well as during her days at MTV Networks, Kering Group and McDonald's. Her business acumen helps her to be laser focused in business development and brand building for clients.
